Recently, My mentor Bob Proctor said ‘when you allow your paradigm to control your thinking, you have disqualified yourself from anything better than you presently have.’
For me, paradigms are the many ways that my own self-image takes over automatically and sabotages a deep desire of mine. An example of this relates to my weight. Ten years ago I had no issue releasing all the excess weight I wanted and it seemed effortless. Another road injury later, followed by my father’s passing, it’s been more of a challenge. The Paradigms are determined to keep my weight where it is – clearly in keeping with my underlying self-image!
What does that mean to you? Please share your own thoughts.
